C45 Carbon Steel Plates are an unalloyed medium carbon steel, which is known as a general carbon engineering steel. The sheet plates are having various good features to offer like fine finishes, durability, high tensile strength, good dimensional accuracy, good surface finishes, withstanding at heavy loads and high temperature. It is a medium strength steel with excellent tensile properties and good machinability. The stress corrosion cracking resistance, pitting resistance, crevice corrosion, general corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance ability is making it high in demand. It can be move with hardening by means of quenching and tempering on restricted areas and focused.
C45 Medium Carbon Steel Plate are similar to low carbon steels except they contain 0.30% to 0.60% carbon and from 0.60% to 1.65% manganese. It has good balance between strength and ductility.
C45 plate material is useful for manufacturing knives, paint scrapers, forgings, wheel tyres, hammers, drills, sickles, shafts, axles, studs, spindles and gears, and is useful in automotive industry and engineering applications.Chemical Composition :
